Umesh is the Director in the M&A team of e&. He has more than 12 years of experience in the M&A. Some of his prominent transactions include acquisition of PPF Telecom assets in central eastern Europe, acquisition of majority stake in Careem Super App for Uber and formation of JVs relating to AI, Cloud, and MVNO players for e&. Further, he has led all the transactions in the fintech space for e&. Before joining e&, he worked in sector agnostic M&A team of Grant Thornton UAE where he advised numerous govt and non-govt clients on M&A transactions ranging from $10 million to $15 billion, including IPOs.
