Jan Georg Budden (born 1968) is CEO and co-founder of Deutsche GigaNetz GmbH with 25+ years’
experience in telecoms with a focus on fiber and investments.
He founded "Euro Solutions" while still at university and advised American IT and
telecommunications companies in partnership with the US Embassy. After graduating with a degree
in business administration, he held positions at o.tel.o., in the corporate & carrier and submarine
cable business, and at Global Crossing as Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe.
Jan Georg Budden then joined Deutsche Telekom, where he held various management positions as
Executive Vice President at T-Systems. In 2007, he founded Axos Capital with the US investors
Columbia Capital and Doll Capital Management, an investment company with a specialized on
privatizations (incl. fibre-optic investments).
Jan Georg Budden is married and has three children.
