Speaker Profile

As Chief International Officer and member of the Executive Committee, Emmanuel Léonard is currently in charge of running international operations for TAWAL, the leading TowerCo in the MENA region owned by Saudi Telecom group.

 

Emmanuel worked between 2013 and 2020 at Helios Towers plc, an independent emerging market telecommunications infrastructure operator listed on the London Stock Exchange since its IPO in 2019. Prior to joining Helios Towers plc, Emmanuel was a member of the European investment teams of Quilvest Private Equity in London and Bridgepoint in Paris. He previously worked in investment banking, advising telecommunications operators and governments on privatisations, mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He started his professional career at a hedge fund in New York City.

 

Emmanuel is a graduate of Institut Polytechnique de Paris ENSAE, SciencesPo Paris and Columbia University in New York.
