Speaker Profile

Richard has worked in the telecoms, media and technology industries for 25 years.  He sits on the executive team at Openreach where, as Chief Strategy and Technology Officer, has been central to the company’s £15bn investment to roll out full fibre infrastructure across the UK.  Prior to joining Openreach he worked for BT Group where he led the post-deal integration of EE and BT and served as Group Strategy Director.  He started his career in consulting, advising clients across Europe, the US, China and Asia-Pacific on strategy and commercial topics.
